The whole family will love this Christmas holiday scavenger hunt as you look high and low to find all of the themed items. This is a great activity to do seasonally so we have made several different versions – spring scavenger hunt, bug and insect hunt, July 4th scavenger hunt, back to school scavenger hunt, camping (and campground) scavenger hunt, and hunts for the fall and Thanksgiving.
Our Christmas version is a little different because it comes with 3, including clue cards.
While this is always on our list of holiday fun, at the beginning of December we do an advent calendar (free printable), along with Christmas lights bingo because we love going around and seeing all of the displays (one of my favorite Christmas traditions!).
If you have young kids, another fun Christmas activity is our festive handprint art, that almost makes the best gift and keepsake for family.
Need to plan a Christmas party? Look no further! See our best ideas for adult Christmas parties, kids Christmas parties, and teen holiday parties are NOT boring! You can grab our Name That Carol game that tests your knowledge on Christmas songs or Christmas music bingo that are so much fun for the whole family.

🌟What’s Included
You will receive two versions of the Christmas scavenger hunt game. One has pictures and words, so it’s perfect for younger kids, including ones who can’t read just yet.
The other printable doesn’t have scavenger hunt clues. Instead it has every letter of the alphabet, you can find something that starts with each letter. Middle school, high school kids, and older kids like a real challenge.
Then there’s the one with 24 clue cards.
Basically you still give them the first clue, then they use the rest to find the others. Once all of the clues have been found you can lead them to a basket or small gift.
If you are doing this on Christmas day for a big gift, that is where the last clue will be.
There’s also an answer key included, so you know where to place the cards and the different locations.
📌What You’ll Need
Paper – to print the game and scavenger hunt clues on.
Scissors or paper trimmer – to cut out Christmas scavenger hunt clues if you are using that version.
Pens/pencils – if you are using the the seek and find versions.
*Optional – laminator or sheet protectors – this is a great way to make the scavenger hunts reusable without using tons of ink and paper. They also have self laminating sheets that are a little more expensive, but you don’t have to have the actual machine.
