🌟What’s Included
There are a few different variations of the handprint Christmas crafts to choose from. This includes a handprint Christmas tree, gnomes, merry and bright, handprint reindeer, a snowman, Merry Grinchmas, handprint Santa, an elf, and joy.
🌟What You’ll Need
- Non-toxic paint or ink pad – you’ll also need a paper plate if you are using paint to dip the child’s hand in. You can use different colors of acrylic paint if you would like, but we designed these for red paint, yellow, green paint, blue, and brown. We also used gray paint for Santa’s beard, but if you wanted to use white paint you will need to print the template on a different color paper so it shows up better.

✨Christmas Handprint Craft Instructions
- Once your have printed file of choice, let the kids choose their favorite color of paint or ink.
- Cover the child’s hand with the ink or dip it into washable paint.
- Press their hand firmly on the paper without moving it around.
- Let your child’s handprint dry completely before moving it.
- Wash the little hands, and you are all done!
Be sure to use enough paint to cover their hands, but not too much paint where it will smear.

💡Helpful Tips
- We love laminating our Christmas handprint crafts to make them last longer, and it makes the perfect gift for family members.
- For best results, use a nice heavy card stock.
- Check your printer settings and ink levels first before printing your printable art. We recommend using the best quality mode for the most vibrant colors.
- No printer? Your local print shop can help, and they are usually reasonably priced or you can check an online print shop.
- While you could use construction paper, some of the colors may not show up as well depending on color.
- If you need another size other than US letter size – 8.5 x11, check your printer settings.
- Check the label to make sure you are using washable paint to make clean up easier.
