📌How to Play the Christmas Family Feud Game
If you have ever watched the classic games on TV, it’s very similar but with a fun twist! The list of answers will all be Christmas related.
Objective
The goal of the game is for teams to guess the most popular answers to survey questions related to Christmas. Points are awarded based on the top answers for the questions.
Setup
Teams: Divide players into two opposing teams.
Host: Designate one person to be the host. The host will read the questions and keep track of scores.
Materials:
- Host question cards (54 total)
- Player-View Cards (54 total – optional)
- Score sheets
- Team cards (optional)
- Timer (optional)

Playing the Game
Faceoff:
- Choose one player from each team to face off. Team members can choose or you can just go in order.
- The host reads a question from the game card.
Answering:
- The first player to buzz in (or raise their hand) answers the question.
- If they guess a correct answer, their team gets points based on the answer’s popularity.
- If their answer is the highest on the card, their team must decide if they want to pass or play.
If They Play:
The team continues to provide answers for the question, trying to guess all the responses without getting three strikes.
If They Pass:
The opposing team gets a chance to answer, attempting to guess the remaining answers.
Scoring:
- Keep track of points for each team on the score sheet.
- Continue alternating turns between teams.
Continuing Rounds:
- Repeat the face-off process for each question.
- Choose new players to face off for each question to keep it engaging.

Rules to Follow
Answer Time Limit
Each player has 5 seconds to provide their answer after buzzing in.
No Consulting
Players are not allowed to consult with their teammates during the Face-Off. Each must answer independently.
Three Strikes Rule
If a team provides three incorrect answers during their turn, they receive three strikes, and the round ends for them.
Stealing Opportunity
Once a team gets three strikes, the opposing team has one chance to guess one of the remaining answers on the card. If they guess correctly, they are allocated the total points earned that round.

Quick Fire (Lightning Round)
In the regular game this is know as Fast Money.
Objectives
The objective of the Quick-Fire Round is to score as many points as possible by giving the most popular answers to five rapid-fire questions.
Gameplay
The Quick-Fire Round is played after the main three rounds. Choose one player from each team to participate in this final challenge. These players will each have a chance to answer five new questions as quickly as possible. If possible, one player should leave the room or be out of hearing range while the first player answers.
Each player will have 30 seconds to answer all five questions. The goal is to provide the most popular answers from the survey. After the first player answers, the second player is brought back into the room and answers the same five questions. If the second player repeats an answer from the first player, they will need to provide a new answer.
Once both players have answered, the host reveals the points for each answer, adding them up for each player. The team’s total score for the Quick-Fire Round is the sum of both players’ points. These points are then added to the team’s score from the first three rounds to determine the final winner.
The team with the highest total score after the Quick-Fire Round wins the game!
