📌What You’ll Need
Toilet Paper Rolls
Bright Green Tissue Paper – this will be used in the rolls to look like grass.
Pipe Cleaners – green for the stems, pink and yellow for the petals.
Ruler and Tape – to measure the pipe cleaners and attach the construction paper to the paper rolls.
White Construction Paper
Ribbon – I used yellow, but you can choose whatever color you like.
✨How to Make Pipe Cleaner Flowers
Cut the paper to fit the roll. Then tape the paper to the toilet paper roll.
Cut small pieces of the tissue paper and stuff it inside.
Cut the stems so they are 4 inches long.
Cut the pipe cleaners that you are going to use for the petals in 3 inch pieces.
Make petal shapes and twist the bottoms so they stay.
Stack 4 petals onto a stem.
Wrap the stem around the petals.
Fluff out the pipe cleaner petals so they are in a flower shape.
Repeat for the remaining flowers and add them to the toilet paper rolls.
Tie ribbon around the rolls and curl the ends.
Display the flowers or give as a gift!
💡Helpful Tips
- Pick Seasonal Colors: Use pinks, yellows, and greens for spring, bright reds and oranges for summer, or even snowy whites and icy blues for winter.
- Add Extra Sparkle: Decorate your bouquet with glitter, stickers, or even little drawings on the construction paper wrap.
- Try Fancy Petals: Make heart-shaped petals for Valentine’s Day or star shapes for a summer bouquet.
