Free Printable Kids Valentine Cootie Catcher (Jokes + Blanks)

Sharing is caring!

Grab our free printable Valentine cootie catcher that includes a fortune teller with jokes and a blank version for kids to make their own!

I remember a long time ago we would all make our own cootie catcher, but at that time I’m pretty sure we referred to them as paper fortune tellers. Who knew that our story time of predicting futures was an actual form of origami?!

We’ve turned this simple little origami project into an Valentine joke teller, where kids will have hours of fun and there will definitely be lots of laughs. Using the blank version is a great way to let kids make up their own jokes (or write their own message), or look different ones up to make more than one cootie catcher.

💡Helpful Tips

  • We like printing these in color, but you can change your printer settings so that it prints a black and white version if needed.
  • Check ink levels before printing. No home printer? Your local print shop can help, and they are usually reasonably priced or you can check an online print shop.
  • These are US Letter size, but the actual cootie catcher can be printed on a square piece of paper if you wanted to use something a little more fancy or festive (like patterned cardstock).
