📌What You’ll Need
Cardstock – pink and glitter of some color
Hot glue and glue gun
Fake flowers – I just grabbed 3-4 picks from Dollar Tree
Cereal box
Scissors
Pencil and sharpie – to draw the eyes
Exacto knife
✨How to Make a Unicorn Valentine Box
Start by measuring your cardstock and cut to fit the cereal box.
Cut out a rectangle on the back to slid the cards in. I recommend measuring on the box with a pencil and do the same for the cardstock so it’s not too hard to cut both layers.
Hot glue the cardstock on all sides of the box.
Cut a 12×12 sheet of glitter cardstock diagonally to make two triangles.
Then roll one triangle into a cone shape and hot glue where needed.
Use a pencil to hand draw the eyelashes, then fill in with a Sharpie.
Hot glue the cone to the top of the box for the horn.
Pick the flowers from the stems or use a set of wire cutters.
Start on the top and hot glue the flowers in place, alternating colors, and working your way down the side.
Freehand the ears, or search unicorn ears images on Google and print. Mine were about 6 inches tall. I used Canva to find this design.
Hot glue to the back of the box so they poke far enough over the top.
💡Helpful Tips
- Any glitter card stock can be used for the horn, you can also spray paint on a cone styrofoam for the same effect.
- You can also find the eyelash images on Google and print if you don’t feel comfortable drawing them.
- If you don’t want to cut individual sheets of card stock you can use foam felt in longer pieces to wrap. Construction paper could also be used.
