🧠 Why St. Patricks Day Dot Marker Activities Are Awesome

St. Patrick’s Day dot marker activities are a fantastic way to keep your little ones entertained and learning at the same time!

  • They’re great for those tiny fingers! Using dot markers helps kids get stronger, which is super important for things like holding a pencil and learning to write.
  • It’s like a little workout for their eyes and hands! Aiming and placing the dots really helps them get better at coordinating their movements, which is helpful for all sorts of things, like drawing and even sports.
  • Let their imaginations run wild! Kids love picking out colors and making their own unique designs. It’s a fun way to encourage creativity and let them show off their artistic side.
  • Learning colors is a breeze! Playing with different colors helps them learn to recognize and name them, which is a key skill for little learners.
  • Following directions becomes a piece of cake! Many dot marker activities have patterns or simple steps, which helps kids learn to follow instructions and understand sequences.

🌟What’s Included

You’ll receive the 10 St. Patricks-themed dot art sheets after entering your information at the bottom of the post. They are easy guided big dots that match the exact size of dot markers. Designs include a gnome, pot of gold, heart, shamrock, and more!

📌What You’ll Need

Bingo daubers or dot markers – these are the perfect size for dot art and the bingo markers are just the right size for little ones to hold. You can also use regular markers if that’s all you have.

Dot stickers – you can also use round stickers which are a little less messy.

Pom Poms – little hands love these things and also encourages sensory play.

Little kids will use daubers, markers, stickers, etc. to cover all of the blank dots on the Valentine themed pictures. We recommend practicing color and number recognition, and phonetic sound and letter recognition as they work through each sheet. As an example S is for shamrockf. Then count.

To make a DIY pom pom dot maker use a clothes pin with a pom pom, then kids can dip it in the paint.
