✨Patriotic Candy Dice Game Instructions

Setup:
Each player starts with 4 candies. Place the rest in a bowl in the center of the table.

Objective:
Be the first player to collect 10 candies.

How It Works:

  1. Youngest player rolls first.
  2. Follow the instruction based on the number rolled (the chart tells you what each number means—no memorizing needed!).
  3. Take, give, skip, or swap candy until someone hits the sweet spot—10 candies!

It’s that simple, and it’s always hilarious. Get ready for surprise candy trades, groans of candy loss, and competitive giggles.

💡Helpful Tips

  • We love laminating this July 4th party game to make them last longer.
  • For best results, use a heavier-weight paper. You can use regular paper too if you just want to play the game one or twice.
  • Check ink levels before printing. No printer? Your local print shop can help, and they are usually reasonably priced or you can check an online print shop.
  • If you need another size other than US Letter, check your printer settings.
  • In the classroom setting if you didn’t want to use candy, you could use colored counters.

This is also a great activity to have ready while waiting for the grill to fire up or for the sun to set before fireworks. It’s quick to play, easy to explain, and sure to become a go-to holiday tradition.
