🎨What You Need for Pumpkin Painting
Some of the tutorials will list out different supplies, but these are some common ones.
Pumpkins – obviously! Head to the pumpkin patch or check your local craft stores for the artificial pumpkins like the ones below.
Paint – any acrylic craft paint will work. If you are using several different colors, we recommend getting a variety pack. Also, if there are themed pumpkins that look like they are going to require more paint, use spray paint instead. Some also prefer to use chalk paint, but it can be a little more expensive.
Hot glue gun – some of our Disney pumpkin painting ideas have embellishments and these are best attached by using hot glue. I really like the Ryobi glue gun because it’s cordless and the tip is narrow so it’s really good for precision. AND the battery is rechargeable, so that’s nice.

Violet Beauregard Inspired Pumpkin
Remember the girl in Willy Wonka? How could you not it looks just like her! The base color is going to take several coats of blue paint, but the end result is such a winner! I would also try to use spray paint instead of acrylic paint so it takes less time.

If you have a fake white pumpkin that needs a simple design, go with Coco! Add the face using black paint or if you have a cutting machine like a Cricut, I am sure you can find a file to cut out of vinyl to make it easier.
