Game Play

The caller will name an object. If any player has the object on their card, they should cover it with a marker. Place the card to the side or mark off the object on the full calling sheet.

Continuing calling cards until someone shouts, “BINGO”! This may require reshuffling the cards and going back through them unless you print extra copies.

Using the Calling Cards

If you are playing multiple rounds, be sure to use a different call list each time. If you are using the larger calling cards and pulling them from a hat, you will not have to worry about this.

There is not a free space labeled, but if you wanted to, you could announce that they can mark the middle space on their on own bingo cards regardless if it’s a tea bag, tea cup, tea pot, sugar cubes, etc. and let everyone have that one.

How to Win Bingo

There are a few variations of how to win Bingo.

  • Traditional – any combination of 5 objects. This can be vertical, horizontal, or diagonal lines.
  • Full card – all squares on the game board must be covered to win.
  • Four corners – each of the corners have to be covered.
  • Outer borders – only the borders of the card will be covered.

What Happens After Someone Wins?

After the first person wins bingo, you have two options. Have guests clear their cards and start over for a new game or continue playing, leaving their markers where they are.

We recommend using different cards each round.

What To Do If Two People Win?

If you are offering prizes after each round, it’s possible that you may have two winners. This happened to us when we played Christmas music bingo. We had the two winners to flip a coin because we only had 1 prize to offer per round.

Our set of 60 unique cards is perfect for groups of all sizes! If you need a lot of bingo cards, we recommend using the version that has two to sheet.

Even though bingo may sound elementary, young adults, kids, and even older adults love this interactive game and when there are prizes involved, you can expect real excitement! Coordinate your tea party games with party decorations for the full experience!
