There are a few different variations of the handprint New Year crafts to choose from. This includes a handprint rocketship, guitar, 2025 design, disco ball, fireworks, sparkler, dinosaur, toast, and party hat. There’s also one sheet for a footprint craft.
📌What You’ll Need
Non-toxic paint or ink pad – you’ll also need a paper plate if you are using paint to dip the child’s hand in. You can use different colors of acrylic paint if you would like.
paper – you can use regular paper, but white cardstock is great for keepsake art because it holds up better.

✨New Year Handprint Craft Instructions
Once your have printed file of choice, let the kids choose their favorite color of paint or ink.
Cover the child’s hand with the ink or dip it into washable paint.
Press their hand firmly on the paper without moving it around.
Let your child’s handprint dry completely before moving it.
Wash the little hands, and you are all done!
Be sure to use enough paint to cover their hands, but not too much paint where it will smear.

- While you could use construction paper, some of the colors may not show up as well depending on color.
- If you need another size other than US letter size – 8.5 x11, check your printer settings.
- Check the label to make sure you are using washable paint to make clean up easier.
