🎃What’s Included
There are a few different variations of the handprint craft printables to choose from. This includes a handprint spider, pumpkin handprint, skeleton, two Frankensteins, Boo, Spooky, a darling ghost, witch flying, witch’s cauldron, and from the classic movie Hocus Pocus.
🌟What You’ll Need
Non-toxic paint or ink pad – you’ll also need a paper plate if you are using paint to dip the child’s hand in. You can use any color of acrylic paint you would like, but we designed these for black paint, orange paint, purple, green paint, and gray.

paper – you can use regular paper, but white cardstock is great for keepsake art because it holds up better. To make the ghost handprint, it would be best to use black paper (like construction paper) so white paint would show better. If you choose to use white paper, then go with gray paint.
Black Sharpie – for the eyes on some of the handprint templates. You could also glue on googly eyes instead if you don’t want to draw.

✨Halloween Handprint Craft Instructions
Once your have printed file of choice, let the kids choose their favorite color of paint or ink.
Cover the child’s hand with the ink or dip it into paint.
Press their hand firmly on the paper without moving it around.
Let your child’s handprint dry completely before moving it.
Wash the little hands, and you are all done!
When making the ghost, spider, and Frankensteins use a black marker or paint pens to daw on the eyes.

Open and print as many copies as you need or multiple versions. The printable comes in 11 different designs so you can choose one or all of them.
💡Helpful Tips
- We love laminating these adorable halloween handprints to make them last longer.
- For best results, use a nice heavy card stock.
- Check your printer settings and ink levels first before printing your printable art. We recommend using the best quality mode for the most vibrant colors.
- No printer? Your local print shop can help, and they are usually reasonably priced or you can check an online print shop.
- While you could use construction paper, some of the colors may not show up as well depending on color.
- If you need another size other than US Letter, check your printer settings.
- Check the label to make sure you are using washable paint to make clean up easier.
- You could totally turn these art projects into Halloween cards for an extra special personal touch for friends and family.
