Easy Homemade Gel Air Fresheners

Equipment

  • 3 small mason jars (4 oz size works great)
  • Frog lids for extra cute factor and airflow Optional

Supplies & Materials

  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin
  • ½ cup water room temp
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 2 teaspoons fragrance oil
  • 1 –3 drops liquid food coloring optional

Instructions

  • Sprinkle gelatin into room temp water. Stir gently and let sit 5 minutes.
  • Add boiling water and stir until gelatin fully dissolves.
  • Add fragrance oil and food coloring. Mix well.
  • Pour evenly into jars. Let sit uncovered overnight to set.
  • Place around your home and enjoy!

Notes

  • Food coloring is optional. One drop = light tint; three drops = deeper color.
  • Avoid gel food dye, it doesn’t dissolve well.
  • These last about 3 weeks. Rinse and reuse the jars as needed!
