*Optional – laminator or sheet protectors – this is a great way to make the printables reusable without using tons of ink and paper. They also have self laminating sheets that are a little more expensive, but you don’t have to have the actual machine.
✨How to Play Each Dino Themed Game
Dinosaur Candy Dice Game
Start by giving each player 4 candies (any kind will work!). Place extra candies in the middle of the table to create a “candy pile.” The youngest player rolls the dice first and follows the action shown—sometimes you’ll get to take candy, sometimes you’ll have to give candy away, and other times you might skip a turn. Keep playing around the table until someone reaches 10 candies to win!
Dinosaur Scattergories
Pick one of the four dino-themed Scattergories boards (with words like ROAR, NEST, and more). For each letter of the chosen word, players have to come up with something that fits the dinosaur-themed categories. For example, for the letter “R” you might fill in “Roar” as a dino sound or “Raptor” for a dino name. The player who fills in the most categories with creative answers wins!
Dinosaur A–Z Race
Challenge everyone to name something dinosaur-related for each letter of the alphabet. Think “A – Ankylosaurus,” “B – Bones,” “C – Claws,” and so on. Set a timer and race to see who can fill in the most letters before time runs out!
Dinosaur Word Scramble
Print out the word scramble sheet and hand it to each player. Kids will unscramble easy dino words like “NIDO” (Dino) and “SLIFSO” (Fossil). You can play this as a race to see who finishes first or set a timer and see who gets the most correct answers before time’s up.
Dinosaur Tic Tac Toe
Just like the classic game, but with a dinosaur twist! Print out the tic tac toe grid and let two players battle it out to see who can line up three X’s or O’s first. Winner stays in to play the next challenger!
What’s Your Dinosaur Name?
This is a just-for-fun activity where kids find their dinosaur name by using the first letter of their name and their birth month. For example, if your name starts with “C” and you were born in March, your dino name is “Chompy the Roarer.” Use the names to introduce yourselves or make name tags for extra laughs!

This is a creative, no-rules-needed drawing page! Kids can design and color their own dinosaur however they want. Stripes, polka dots, a silly hat, or even roller skates—anything goes in the land of make-believe dinos!
Dinosaur Think Fast Game
Set a timer for 3 minutes. Players race to fill in all the blanks by thinking of three answers for each dino-themed category, like “What do dinosaurs eat?” or “Name parts of a dinosaur.” When the time’s up, add up your answers and give yourself one point for each completed spot. The player with the most points wins!
