Who else loves the crisp fall air? I absolutely LOVE the changing of the seasons. Where I live it’s super humid in the summer, so the first thing we do when it starts to cool off is a fall scavenger hunt.
We usually try to find some other fun fall themed activities, and if I do say so myself I really like trivia and word games. So, fall scattergories was born!

✨Fall Scattergories Game Instructions
You can play this fall game a few different ways depending on the age of the players.
- Print out the autumn scattergories sheets after you have downloaded. Double check your printer settings beforehand.
- Each person will get a game card. Cider is spelled across the top. There are 4 versions to choose from, so there are other fall related words.
- For each letter there is a category down the the side. The object is to come up with unique words for each of the categories starting with the letters C, I, D, E, R.
- We play that the first one who fills all of them in first wins! You can also set a time limit and choose the winner based on who has the most filled out before the timer runs out.

💡Helpful Tips
- We love laminating our printable games to make them last longer.
- If a more professional look or if you want the game to look a little prettier, use heavy card stock. The paper weight will vary, but as a reference regular computer paper is about 20lbs.
- Check ink levels before printing. No printer? Local print shops can help, and they are usually reasonably priced or you can check an online print shop.
- If you need another size other than US Letter, check your printer settings.
