Fizzy Halloween Pumpkin Experiment
A fun Halloween science activity where kids create bubbling jack-o-lantern potions! Safe, hands-on, and packed with fizz, sparkle, and not-so-spooky fun.

Supplies & Materials
Clear plastic bottle
lid removed
Black marker or jack-o-lantern stickers
Baking soda
2–3 tbsp
Orange food coloring
Orange glitter
White vinegar
Funnel or spoon
Tray or bin to catch spills
Instructions
Decorate bottle with a jack-o-lantern face.
Place bottle in a tray to contain fizz.
Add 2–3 tablespoons baking soda.
Mix in orange food coloring + glitter.
Slowly pour vinegar and watch it bubble!
Repeat with different amounts to experiment.
Notes
Use gel food coloring for brighter fizz.
Add glitter last so it stays on top of the bubbles.
Try droppers for slower fizzing fun.
Do this activity outside for easy cleanup.
