📌What You’ll Need
Paper – for best results, use white paper. Some of the these are fine to print on regular paper, while some of the other creative ideas are meant for card stock.
Scissors or paper trimmer – to cut out the elf props and games. A paper trimmer trimmer really helps A LOT and makes the process go much faster.
Pens/pencils – if you are using these along with the elf notes.
Glue – I used hot glue for most of these, you could also use a tape runner.
Pom Poms – to go with the cornhole boards.
Cotton balls – for the Santa countdown.

✨Instructions for the Elf on the Shelf Props
These are simple ideas to keep kids having good behavior. Feel free to create new elf scenes of your own use our favorite printables below. Don’t forget we have elf notes, which are printable cards that go along with some of these. It also includes blank so you can write your own little note if you choose.
Tic Tac Toe
There are two game boards to a sheet. Use scissors or paper trimmer to cut apart. This goes with the peppermints to use as markers. In our elf note set, there is a daily card to use with this one.

Pin the Nose on the Reindeer and Snowman
Both of these fun ideas come on the same sheet. Cut them apart along with the noses for each.

Elfagram
Use an Xacto knife to cut out the square in the middle to use as a photo booth prop, or take a picture of one of the elf’s visit and tape or glue on.

Mini playing cards
Have the elf set up with other action figures or Barbies like they are playing cards together.

Cornhole Boards
Print two copies out. Cut around the boards, and fold on the dotted lines. Then glue together. Use pom poms as the throwing bags.
Pizza and Donuts
These are from the North Pole company. Use the pizza box on movie night or family night. For the donuts, write a cute elf note like, ” I donut not know what I would do without you, or I was hungry and laid over with a belly ache.

Amazon Boxes (Special Delivery)
How cute are these tiny little boxes? Simply cut, fold, and glue for a fun and easy idea. The envelopes and labels are included as well.

Baking Cookies
On some of the printable elf notes there are cards for a cookie baking night. You can say that elf made you cookies, or deliver these with a bag of cookie mix for a for fun night.

Hopscotch board
Set up the game (just print and cut it out) with other little stuffies or figures that the kids have as if the toys are playing together. This is also a great way to incorporate both scout elves if you have more than 1.

Elf Twister
Another easy elf idea to include other toys with.

Santa Beard Countdown
Use cotton balls and have the elf countdown the days until Christmas Eve. You can also just set this up so the kids can do it. We have a super cute printable countdown chain and 71+ more Christmas countdown ideas that are fun and easy.

Download the printable games and props to your computer, and print out what you need. These are delivered as a PDF file.
Use scissors or a paper trimmer to cut out each of the fun props as necessary. You will need glue for the pizza box, cornhole boards, donut box, and packages.
💡Helpful Tips
- We love laminating our Christmas printables make them last longer and so they can be reused.
- For the highest quality feel use a nice heavy card stock.
- Check ink levels before printing. No printer? Local print shops can help, and they are usually reasonably priced or you can check an online print shop.
- While you could use construction paper, some of the colors may not show up as well depending on color.
- If you need another size other than US Letter, check your printer settings.
